This is the Dry Food and Snack that we feed to our Ragdoll Cats and your Ragdoll Kittens!
Our premium cat food for all life stages contains select ingredients to help your cat achieve optimum health. We use a “fast-cook” process at low temperatures to help preserve the nutritional value of each and every wholesome ingredient. And we maintain strict inventory controls to ensure the quality and safety of our foods.
Our all life stage cat food is made with the finest ingredients, including …
• A proprietary blend of vitamins & minerals
• High-quality protein from chicken & whitefish meals for strong muscles
• An antioxidant system including vitamins C & E
• Omega-3 fatty acids for healthy skin & a shiny coat
• Calcium & phosphorus for healthy teeth & strong bones
• Dietary fiber to help maintain a healthy digestive tract
HIGH-QUALITY PROTEINS
Protein is essential for all bodily functions, including those of the brain, heart, muscles, skin, skeleton and others. This healthy cat food contains at least 33% high-quality protein.
Chicken Meal
Chicken meal is the first ingredient in this natural cat food recipe. Some foods contain whole chicken or chicken parts, which naturally contain a fair amount of water. We use chicken meal because most of the water has been removed, making it a concentrated source of protein. This means that there is a greater “protein content” in one pound of chicken meal versus one pound of whole chicken or chicken parts.
Eggs
Eggs are considered a complete protein source, providing essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Eggs also contain healthy fats, such as omega-6 for healthy skin and a glossy coat.
ANTIOXIDANT SYSTEM
Felines naturally produce antioxidants, but it’s a limited amount. That is why we cannot emphasize enough the importance of antioxidants. This healthy cat food contains an antioxidant system including guaranteed amounts of vitamins A, C and E.
HEALTHY FATS
Chicken Fat
We believe the primary fat source in cat food should be animal-based because these fats contain a profile of fatty acids that are easily metabolized and generally more available to the body. Additionally, there’s great variation in the quality of animal fats, so be sure to verify that the source is species-specific and not generic (like “chicken fat”, not “animal fat”).
Omega 3 Fatty Acids
The benefits of essential fatty acids are well known, as omega-3s are some of the most extensively researched, naturally occurring nutritional ingredients in the world. The guaranteed amount of omega-3s in our premium kibble helps support healthy skin, shiny coats and overall wellness.
Other Healthy Fat
Our cat food also contains flaxseed meal and eggs, which are excellent sources of healthy fats.
WHOLE GRAINS
Whole grains contain protein, fiber, B vitamins, iron, zinc and other minerals. They also provide the kind of carbohydrates that deliver sustained energy to your cat.
Ground Brown Rice
Ground brown rice is the entire grain with only the inedible outer husk removed. This whole grain contains seven minerals and five B vitamins.
OTHER KEY INGREDIENTS
Prebiotic Fiber
Prebiotics are non-digestible food ingredients that stimulate the growth of good bacteria in the digestive system. This nourishing formula contains the prebiotic fructooligosaccharide.
Probiotics
Probiotics are beneficial bacteria and help support healthy immune and digestive systems. Unlike other pet food companies, we guarantee the amount of four different health-promoting probiotics in our cat food.
Since we use only wholesome ingredients, this formula contains …
• No artificial flavors
• No artificial colors
• No corn or corn gluten
• No wheat or wheat gluten
Life’s Abundance delivers concentrated nutrition in every bowl, with …

Also only 1/2 is needed each day, more than this could upset your kitties tummy.

Cat Trees for Kittens under 6 months old, I recommend nothing over 4 feet tall because they can hurt their growing bones by jumping from high distances.
*
My favorite scratching posts are the ones made with Sisal Carpet, it lasts a lot longer than the rope and stays looking nice. This is a link below to show you what they look like, please feel free to find them in other places if you would like. http://www.purrfectpost.com/

One of my favorite pet peeves is for each kitten/cat in your home, you should have 1 litter box per kitten/cat.
* If you would much rather not deal with kitty litter or cleaning a kitty box, this Kitty Toilet below hooks up to your toilet piping and cleans itself:-) It is Septic Safe
This is one of my most favorite things I have found so far!

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR RAGDOLL
You will need to cover, wrap or put away any wires you have in your home because Ragdolls like Puppies lose their teeth and in this process they will chew on just about anything to get those teeth out (this will go on until they are about 8 months old). My favorite thing to give them are thick cardboard box’s, they love to chew, scratch and play in those box’s and they are easier to replace than your electronics
You will also need to make sure that your Toilet’s stay closed at all times when not in use because Ragdolls tend to love water, so if they jump in they may not be big enough to get out and could drown. Also for men/boys that have Ragdolls, they will chase the stream so you may not want your Ragdoll with you in the Bathroom:-) Or just be careful:-)
Ragdolls are also very docile, so they should never be aloud outside because they would think even a dangerous animal is their friend, not to mention everything else that could happen to them unattended outside.
Please, If you Travel or go on vacations it is not a good idea to send your kitty to a day care or any care facility, these places hold many germs that can make your Ragdoll sick and or pass away. Please find a sitter instead to check in on your kitty and let them stay in their own comfortable home environment that they are used to.
Please also do not do kitty play dates as your kitty and your friends kitty most likely do not share the same germs and this could cause your kitty to become ill.
Having a Ragdoll is like having a Child, you are their parent/s, so you are the one/s that needs to make proper decisions to keep your kitty Happy, Healthy and Safe:-)
Ragdolls are healthy cats put are known for their very sensitive systems and Gingivitis. These 2 things need to be monitored and taken care of as your kitty grows.
Contrary to popular belief Ragdolls are not hypoallergenic or Shed free. They do have less proteins and pet danders than most cats but if you have allergies to cats you will most likely have allergies to Ragdolls. Ragdolls do shed, they shed less than a short haired domestic cat but you will find those flying hairs throughout your home, on your furniture and on your cloths. I always keep a pet roller on hand:-) With this being said, because of their sweet endearing nature you will never find my home without a Ragdoll or two even when I no longer breed them:-)
For Grooming your Ragdoll you will need a metal tooth comb, baby powder and scissor nail clippers. Your kittens nails should be clipped once a week, he/she should also be brushed and powdered once a week. You can brush them more often if you would like as they love the attention and will love being brushed rather than run from it if it is done on a consistent basis.
Ragdolls even though they are known as a “Mat Free” kitty will still get small mats, especially on their underarms from time to time. So be sure to brush your kitty.
I’ve been asked often, do you bathe your kitties? No I do not water bathe my kitties, Ragdolls are very clean kitties and are grooming themselves constantly. Unless your kitty is going to a Cat Show or has gotten into something it really is not necessary to bathe your Ragdoll.
